The International Guild Of Professional Butlers, known as "BG", was founded in 1998 by Robert Wennekes, a leader in the international professional butler industry with over 35 years of experience in butler services. It was established in conjunction with the founding of The International Butler Academy, functioning as a comprehensive service platform for global professional butlers.

BG aims to provide specialized, international, and one-stop training, certification, employment, and consulting services, as well as diversified customized services, to organizations and talents centered around global butler services, seeking to offer support and assistance in all aspects. BG also connects and integrates the demands and resources from various segments of the global butler service market, bridging the value chain between butlers and employers. This ultimately achieves efficient knowledge sharing, credit sharing, customer sharing, brand sharing, and benefit sharing, thereby promoting high-quality development of the global service industry.
